Mikaela Lyons x Oliver Bonas gold pieces are classed as Vermeil. The base metal is sterling silver, with 2.5 microns of 24ct gold deposited on its surface.
To keep your gold plated jewellery in good condition, lightly polish it with a soft cotton ball or cloth to gently remove dust and grime. When not being worn, keep your plated jewellery stored separately in a sealed plastic bag to reduce tarnishing.

This collection is handmade in the UK by Mikaela Lyons, using sterling silver, 24ct gold vermeil and reclaimed vintage freshwater pearls. Designed exclusively with Oliver Bonas, the items were created using lost wax casting and traditional soldering.
