Lovely to look at, lovely to touch. Shockingly bad at pouring your cup of tea! Spillage galore. Very disappointed.

This set looks absolutely beautiful and my mum was really pleased when I gave it to her for Christmas. However, the tea cups are very shallow which isn’t the biggest issue but annoying. The big issue is that when you pour from the teapot it leaks from the top. Tea comes out from under the lid. I originally thought that this was due to the teabag blocking the hole to the spout but even after taking the teabag out and then pouring it still happens. I don’t know if this is because the spout doesn’t let liquid flow easily or what but it is very annoying and makes a big mess. My mum has said to me that she loves the thought that went into the gift but she unfortunately doesn’t want to use it anymore for the reason that it is just not fit for purpose. Very sad.
