2. The wedding reception

Not invited to the whole day? No problem, you can bring fresh energy to the evening celebrations with a polished Studio-54-inspired disco look. ‘Perfect for dancing away the night, we paired a sleek jersey jumpsuit with platform heels and waterfall-drop earrings’ says Lynda. 'Take a pair of shimmery flats along to change into for when your dancing feet get tired.’

3. The garden wedding

Florals, sunshine, canapes, fondant-pink dresses – it doesn’t get much more summery than a countryside or garden wedding. ‘When it comes to wedding guest dresses, shimmer is never a bad thing, and the metallic thread detailing on this midi adds a sparkle as you wander across the lawn,’ says Lynda. ‘Such a gorgeous shape, with flattering floaty cap sleeves and a tie belt to create shape. 5. The black tie wedding

‘Ahh, the most iconic of dress codes - who doesn’t love the idea of full-on glamour?’ says Lynda. ‘Look for longer midi and maxi dresses to hit the right note,’ she recommends. ‘Silks and satins and metallic tones add luxury, and with such a statement cowl neckline, you won’t need a necklace. Standout earrings and eye-catching hair slides will be all you need, and of course an impactful resin clutch bag, keeping your hands free for the toasts.’
