I was looking for a lamp for the top of the stairs that wasn’t too small or too big. This is the perfect size and looks great. Just what I wanted.

When this came it had an extra feature that I hadn't anticipated - the touch on and off which is very welcome. The lantern is bright and look great on a mirrored bedside table.

I like this a lot. I have the taller one with the same / similar shade and bought this to go nearby. The difference though is that this is a touch on and off rather than a switch (which I assume is mentioned and I missed) and is quite sensitive, so if knocked or touched even slightly (cat tail swishing against it….) it turns on or off. One star off for that and that it feels Flimsier than the matching one. Would recommend though.
