This ceramic jug features a white base, with decorative blue and green scale details for a highly textured finish. Ideal for summer table setting or gifting to friends, this fish jug can be used to hold water, soft drinks or fresh flowers, and arrives in a custom gift box.

Gluggle Jug FAQs

Gluggle jugs are named after the 'gluggle' sound that they make when poured. The original fish-shaped vase was made in Staffordshire over a hundred years ago, and now comes in plenty of colours and sizes. Use as a jug, vase, decanter or utensil holder.

Gluggle jugs make a distinctive 'glug glug' noise when pouring. This happens when the jug is filled up and air gets trapped in the fish's tail. When it escapes, the jug 'glugs' repeatedly.
