I express my creativity through designing and painting greetings cards.
How does this bring you joy?
I take any opportunity I can to leave behind the digital and turn to paint and paper. I strongly believe in the power of creativity as a balm for the stress and chaos of our modern world today, and the potential that a blank page and some paint offers gives me immense joy!
Who or what is your creative inspiration?
I take great inspiration from nature – anything from flowers to food! I also tend to go along with the seasons, so it is often tulips and sunflowers in spring and summer, and pumpkins or poinsettias in autumn and winter.
How did you start your creative journey?
I started my creative journey in lockdown in 2020. I was desperate for a distraction from the difficulties and fears of the time, so I bought my first watercolour palette and paintbrushes and haven’t looked back since.
What advice would you give someone embarking on a journey of creative self expression?
Don’t aim for perfection, aim for joy!
