It snaps apart and back together for space-saving transport in your bag, designed for constant re-use. To use, hold the head of the spoon with one hand and simply lift the blade of the knife with the other - the cutlery 'clicks' apart and you have you have a knife, fork and spoon ready for use. Once finished, rest the fork upon the spoon and push the knife through the central gap to click it back into place.
