I'm kicking myself for not reading the reviews first... For some reason, this box doesn't have a lid! Once it starts to get dusty, I think the top tray will be really difficult to clean.

This is a beautiful piece. Like most other reviewers, I do find it odd that it doesn't have a lid at the top but I knew that in advance (thanks to the reviewers!). It still does what I need it to do, which is to display some things that belonged to my mum and dad. Having access to the items in such a lovely trinket box is lovely.
