How do I use Klarna Financing?

Add any furniture (minimum value, including delivery, £300) to your bag and select Financing at the checkout. If it is the first time you have used it, you will need to provide your personal details to apply for a Klarna Account. Klarna will carry out an affordability assessment in real time. If you are approved, Klarna will create your account and your order will be placed with Oliver Bonas. Your first monthly payment will be due in a minimum of 30 days.

How can I improve my chances of being accepted for Klarna Financing?

It is really important that you provide your full name and accurate personal details at the check out, which include your email address and billing address. Your billing address is where your utility bills, financial accounts and vote is registered. Once you start the Klarna application you will be asked for your date of birth and mobile number. You will also need to confirm financial information. Your mobile number is required in case Klarna needs to reach you.

All statements will be sent to your email address, so it’s very important that you give the correct email address, otherwise you may not receive monthly statements requesting payment. If you miss payments as a result, you will be liable for late payment fees. You will also need your email address for logging into your Klarna account.

All orders are assessed individually. If you have used ‘Slice it’ before (or not), it will not affect the outcome of Klarna’s approval decision.

Yes, you must be 18 years old to use Klarna Financing.

What if I have paid using Klarna Financing before?

The order amount of any purchases you make with the Financing option will be added to your total balance in your Klarna Account, provided the new purchase does not take you over your available credit limit.

What is my credit limit?

Your credit limit is the maximum amount of credit that Klarna will offer you at this time. It depends on a number of factors including your previous credit history and an affordability assessment. Klarna will let you know by email how much credit they will offer you once you have signed your Klarna Account agreement at the checkout. Your credit limit is also shown on each monthly statement.

I’ve received my monthly statement and a payment is due, but I’ve not yet received my goods.

A selection of Oliver Bonas furniture is ‘Made to Order’ or ‘Pre-Order’, which can take up to ten weeks for delivery. We take payment at the time of your order rather than on delivery. This means that you may be requested to pay your first monthly instalment by ‘Klarna’, prior to your furniture being delivered.

I still have questions regarding payment.
