Lovely looking well finished product however it really only has two jobs of which it fails one , incense sticks stand well in the hole however the first 50% of the ash produced isn’t caught by the recessed area of the holder , even with the stick perfectly vertical the ash falls and lands outside the dish. I won’t be returning the item as due to the value it’s simply not worth it. It still looks great and will be fine as an ornament. I wouldn’t recommend this product to others as it does make a mess if used for it’s intended purpose.

Too narrow to catch falling incense dust if using regular length incense sticks. Looks lovely however.

Works well , better to use on a small heatproof mat or saucer as ash can fall beyond the holder . And perhaps better to use with incense sticks that have exposed wire at the bottom : mine have incense all the way down and the burn stops when it hits the holder so the last inch is wasted . But nice neat holder .
