Really soft cotton. I'm a threadcount snob and I usually go for more than 200 but I took a chance on this and it does feel better than a lot of 200tc. Hope it washes well. And it looks great, its a rich, cool navy very much like the photos. Embroidery is good, but I recommend turning the pillows over to sleep on as it's pretty scratchy.
