I like this lamp a lot. So much that I bought a second.
It arrived with a defect but Oliver Bonas collected and replaced with no questions asked. Excellent service.
Took delivery of a copper floor lamp. Sadly, it was is defective.
The head has not been welded on straight and is cock eyed.
The shade does not quite fit the fitting.
Also the holes for the screws don’t align.
This is the second of these lamps that we have bought. The first was fantastic.

I ordered this lamp but unfortunately it had a rather large dent in the base and was a bit wobbly. OB were quick to rectify and send out a replacement but unfortunately the replacement lamp came with a squshed shade (more egg shaped than round!) I was also able to compare the two lamps I'd been sent and saw some inconsistencies with the screw fixings and angle of the head. Once i'd built the best lamp I could out of parts from the two orders the lamp looked ok, but ultimately the packing was insufficient for such a heavy and delicate item - this needs a re-think. Both my original and the replacement lamp arrived from the courier with the boxes ripped open. A bigger box, with more padding is required to stop the shade being squashed and base dented.
In summary, the packaging needs sorting and in this case that's what has let the product down. Once the packaging/delivery is sorted the quality of the lamp is reasonable, but for me personally it wasn't worth the money. I originally chose this lamp over other similar looking but cheaper products available elsewhere beacuse I assumed this lamp would be of better quality. (3 stars for the product, no stars for the packaging) Great lamp. Functional, good quality and versatile Really pleased with this product- just what we were looking for. Stunning and lovely quality, everyone thinks it looks fab! 4 instead of 5 stars because we had a faulty one/one with missing parts delivered first time but customer service to rectify this (via Twitter) was really good Exactly what we wanted. Build quality is good and it looks great
Like everything at Oliver Bonas this lamp is finished to such a great standard and we are very happy with how it looks in our new home. Items like this are what makes a home special. Originally my lamp arrived damaged, so the team at Oliver Bonas arranged collection of the damaged lamp and delivered a new lamp to me. I love the new lamp, it works perfectly and is very stylish. Love it. Was very simple to assemble and the quality is great. It arrived so quickly too! A few delivery issues that the CS team sorted really quickly but really pleased with the lamp, sturdy and good quality. It would help though if the instructions stated what type of bulb is needed as it was quite hard to see into the fixtures. Had high hopes but this is dreadful quality - parts were missing and item was damaged in several places - the base was scratched and there were 2 dents in the shade . Very disappointed. Love my lamp. It is a thing of beauty! Great quality floor lamp, very well made with a very heavy substantial base. Quite easy to assemble leaving a tall, well constructed lamp. The depth of the shade allows for a large bulb, whether it be an energy saving or a filament type. Very well packaged. A great buy. Lovely - looks as it is in the photos, and easy to assemble. However, they could do more to bring the fact that it doesn't come with a lightbulb to your attention.OBHi Celia, thanks for this great feedback; we'll be letting the web content team know straight away so we can make this clearer.

Very solid and good quality, a real feature in any room. We absolutely love this lamp. It arrived in two boxes and was really easy to put together. Nice quality, heavy, lovely colour, perfect condition. It looks great next to our sofa. this is an elegant product with a foot controlled on off switch which is handy and a good quality standard. the build was uncomplicated and comes without a bulb which would have been useful to know. the light given is excellent and was good value against similar floor standing lights .
