Behind the design
Canapé ceramics designed for mingling, grazing and sharing. With a pared-back palette and embossed food motifs for added texture, these are made to be passed around the room. Each shape was inspired by vintage hors d'oeuvres platters, with a variety of designs for beautifully presented nibbles.
'We drew inspiration from luxury French hotel dinnerware and signage that combines detailed line drawings with bold typography,’ explains Home & Gift Designer, Madeleine Gill. ‘I sketched out different layouts and fonts until we reached a characterful, conversation-starting collection that balances hand-drawn illustrations with playful text.’
