The type of glaze used to decorate this product is called a crackle glaze. It changes when it is heated in the kiln and gives every piece a unique design. The crackle finish does not affect the quality of the product.
The design on this product was hand painted which means every piece is unique and might differ slightly from the images.
This product was decorated using a technique called wax resist. It repels glaze when it is heated in the kiln and leaves the ceramic underneath exposed.
