Description

Made from darkly stained mango wood, this freestanding dressing table and desk has an angled design, with a hidden extendable table that slides out of sight when not in use. It features a brass hanging rail for displaying small hanging plant pots, a lipped upper shelf for leaning wall art or books against, and two storage drawers, one covered in pink linen fabric and the other in ribbed glass. The sleek brass drawer pulls add a shiny finishing touch.

It is a beautiful piece of furniture that really does stand out, the soft close draw was a real bonus and just showcases the quality of the build.

OB does mention that each piece of furniture is 'unique', so unique that in fact the parts do not fit together. The legs clearly did not align with the desktop and therefore it couldn't be assembled. They also offered for a professional to assemble and retrofit the pieces on top of a 30% discount but i didn't think it was worth the effort so i returned it.

Bit tricky to assemble and some scratches on the desk surface that retracts. But looks really good and quality materials. Very happy with the addition to the room!

Very disappointed. None of the pieces fitted together correctly making assembly impossible. Had to send back to warehouse. Wasted two days off work for delivery and collection.

Sadly, I had to return this. It wasn’t useable as a desk for me as the desk top sits at 85cm high. Average desks are between 70-75 cm and quick google tells me this height is appropriate for a 7 foot person to work safely. There were also some quality issues with parts not fitting properly or flush. That said, if you want an unusual piece of furniture that you only occasionally sit at for make up etc then it is lovely piece and hopefully the quality issues were just my bad look. OB staff were really helpful, understanding and patient in resolving the issue for me, though currently awaiting my refund.
