A new leaf: Our Iro furniture collection gets a painted update

Our latest furniture styles give a whole new meaning to ‘bringing the outside in’. These fresh designs build on our Iro Collection of mahogany wood furniture, hand-painted with leafy palm illustrations inspired by the hot desert landscape of California. From the statement armoire wardrobe to the small side table, these decorative furniture pieces were designed to bring a different sort of greenery into your home. Each style is painted in vibrant shades of yellow, blue and pink, with saturated accent colours that give a nod to California’s dry desert landscape.

The nature-inspired paintings were first designed by our Senior Print Designer for Home & Gift Emily, painted using a gestural, sketchy style to convey the different shapes and textures of the desert foliage. Crafted in Indonesia, each piece is painted by artisans, who specialise in the traditional skill of painting furniture by hand.
