Love this planter the yellow has a crackle/patchy effect close up which isn't really visable in the pictures. It looks great. The planter has no drainage hole in the bottom (obviously so water isn't dripping onto your book case or where ever you put it). So I would recomend breaking up charcoal into finer pieces with a hammer and putting a layer of it in the bottom if you plant something directly into the giraffe. Charcoal helps keep excess water sweeter as it can't drain out the bottom. This is better for the plant I have a relatively small suculent in mine and it looks really cute.
