Plant Pot FAQs
Generally, your plant pot should be around 1–2cm wider in diameter than the plastic grow pot your plant comes in. You can find the internal diameter of each pot in the product details. To ensure the best fit, simply measure the diameter (width) of your grow pot and check it will sit comfortably inside.
Our planters are designed to suit a wide range of houseplants, and they also pair perfectly with our artificial plants for an easy, low-maintenance styling option.
It is not necessary for indoor plant pots to have drainage holes. Designed for indoor use, our standing pots and plant pots with stands do not have drainage holes. Instead, we recommend that you keep the plant in a plastic pot inside the decorative pot. Make sure there’s room around the edges - this will make it easier to lift the plant out before or after it’s been watered to drain the excess liquid.
Because they’re not subjected to outdoor conditions, indoor plant pots can be made of many different materials, including ceramic, terracotta, metal, rattan, fibreglass, concrete and plastic. This means that you can easily find a plant pot to match your existing interior style, without having to consider harsh changes in weather. Plastic-lined storage baskets are great for larger plants and small indoor trees.

The gold foil does come off if you try to wipe or clean the pot, so you have to be extremely careful, perhaps it could have some more glaze over it, but apart from that, we love it.

I ordered two and one of them was shattered upon arrival! I do like the look of the remaining one, but would add that the gold decoration is like a kind of plastic overlay that can easily be scraped off with a fingernail. Also, if anyone is wondering, they don't have drainage holes in the base.

Looks lovely but unfortunately does not stand up to care instructions. When I handwashed it as advised some of the gold turned green or peeled off. The store was helpful in giving a replacement so I will endeavour not to get my new one wet at all - difficult with a plant pot! I would advise buying the mom gold leaf pots

I've had my eye on this pot for ages, and I finally decided to order it for myself just after Christmas. It arrived on time and in one piece - something I was worried about! It has a beautiful shiny glaze, and the foil at the bottom seems to have been applied on top of it (rather than under the glaze). This does mean I don't want to move it around much because the foil seems prone to flaking, but it also looks so much nicer because the gold is beautifully shiny. I have a purple inch plant in mine and it looks fab.

Bought online, pot had defect (a spot or hole on the side,) there was damage to one side (scratch) and the measurements where not the same as advertised online so was too big, shame really as I liked the gold leaf effect, maybe I will make my own, had to return for a refund.

Exactly what I was looking for. The only reason is it not getting 5 stars is because the gold colour does tend to rub off every time you touch the plant pot. However, enough layers to still be covered without any patches.

It’s a great shape and fit for my plants and the crackly pale grey is lovely with the gold foil. The gold foil is slightly flakey but it’s still a beautiful pot.

Really beautiful, looks so great on the shelf. Was worried the grey would look a bit dull but it looks very stylish brought out with the gold. Very pretty and well made although the gold leaf is a bit delicate and flakes a bit. But that is the nature of gold leaf I suppose! Also the bottom is rough like many plant pots so has to be on something to prevent scratching of the surface. Wish there were more colour options

Looks nice but terrible quality. It was a gift wrapped present but as soon as the recipient took it out it the box, the gold foil was dropping off everywhere. The finish was very cheap, tacky and disappointing.

Unfortunately the gold foil on one side of the pot was really rough/bobbly and flaking off all over. I’d expect this in small areas but not over half the vase. Every time I carry it more falls off in my hands . It had a white paper net packaging around it which I think contributed to it arriving in this condition...
So overall disappointed!

A lovely plant pot. Really nice style and shape. Bigger than I expected! The gold foil paint at the bottom is a nice touch. Noticed others have mentioned the paint flaking, mine has a tiny amount, but left alone it’s fine. Missing 1 star due to the shape at the top of the pot. It’s very wide at the bottom but curves in a tad at the top, so make sure you measure your plant’s nursery pot first to get the right fit! :)

It looks lovely in a bedroom, I have chosen to put a Mother-in law tongue in the pot and it looks lovely. It was well-packaged and there was no damage to the product when it was delivered. The one thing I would say is that you need to be careful when you take the pot out of the box as the gold base is foiled and small pieces could fall off if you are not careful. Having said this I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a really lovely pot. I’ve actually used it as a vase with large white Hydrangea heads and white roses. It looks lovely as the centrepiece on my dining room table which is a washed grey. Really recommend it. A lovely thing at a super price.
