Guide to rug care
Looking after your rug
To prolong the life of your rug, we recommend getting it professionally cleaned.
To keep the colour looking fresh, keep out of direct sunlight.
Some shedding is normal during the initial months of use. Give your rug a gentle shake to maintain its best appearance. When vacuuming, use a low setting without rotating brush.
Most of our rugs are handmade, which means every piece is unique and might differ slightly from the images.
Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Clip any snags, do not pull through.
Jute
Jute is a textured natural fibre with an organic, rustic feel. Jute rugs are very hardwearing, making them a practical choice for high-traffic rooms like hallways. They are also a good choice for sunny rooms, as they don't fade easily.
Wool
Wool is a natural fibre that’s stain, water and flame-resistant, making it a great material for rugs. When blended with cotton, wool rugs are soft under foot and durable with textural depth and natural variations in tone.
Cotton
Cotton is a soft, natural fibre with a lighter look and feel. Cotton rugs are easy to clean, making them a good choice for kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms.
