Our Velvet Ottomans have arrived in nine fabulous colours ranging from sophisticated neutrals to eye-popping brights.

The ottomans are proudly made for 'The Velvet Chair Company' in Beeston, Nottinghamshire by upholsterers who personally sign each one.

We use high quality Cotton Pile Velvet from Holland, a historical centre of velvet milling in Europe. One reassuring feature of our velvet is that durability is double that recommended for domestic use. 20,000 rubs is standard – ours is 40,000 rubs.

Important: 

Cotton velvet pile is sensitive to pressure. Any marks left after scuffing or compression will come out given time, but this process can be helped along by lightly steaming the affected area.  NEVER use water to try to clean velvet - a lightly damp cloth may help with stains, but water is a no-no with cotton velvet.  For best results use a reputable specialist dry cleaning service.

Velvet Ottoman

"I have just received my first order placed with Oliver Bonas, a lovely velvet ottoman. This was quite expensive by comparison with many other products I considered but the quality certainly appears to justify the price. The ottoman is simple in design yet classical in appearance. The velvet looks great and most people would feel perfectly safe and comfortable sitting on the ottoman. I ended up placing my order over the phone because the website was showing out of stock. This wasn't the case and my ottoman was delivered within 24 hours of placing my order. Thanks Oliver Bonas and well done. I'd have no hesitation shopping with you again."

Velvet ottoman

"I'd seen this piece of furniture in the shop and had loved it straight away. This was really simple to order online and delivery was arranged within the week. I was able to book a slot for a Saturday morning and this was deliverd on time. This piece looks great in the bay window of my bedroom and has plenty of storage. I would certainly recommend this item and would order from this websire again."
