Liv Purvis x Oliver Bonas

It’s here - our exclusive jewellery collaboration with our long-standing friend and woman we adore, London blogger and author of The Insecure Girls’ Handbook, Liv Purvis. The collection is called Flower Moon, and comprises 11 gold-plated jewellery pieces each named after an important woman in Liv’s life, beautifully designed with inspiring quotes, inlaid stones and floral details.

Liv says, “well, this feels exceptionally special. I never thought I'd make a foray into jewellery, but when the opportunity came up to partner with my long-time loves at Oliver Bonas, in many ways, it felt almost serendipitous”.

Here, we catch up with Liv, and Debs and Lianna from our Jewellery Team to talk about this oh-so exciting collaboration.

On the collection

“At the first meeting with Liv we discussed what Jewellery meant to her and the sentiment and memories associated with pieces she has”, says Lianna.

“We also discussed what she likes to wear every day - she’s definitely a hoop earring girl - so we decided to include two styles in the collection. It’s a real mix of pieces you can wear every day and a few more statement items for special occasions. The necklaces sit at staggered chain lengths to be easily layered together, or with your own favourite pieces, which is something Liv wanted to achieve within the range”.

On the details

“Coming together, we've created a collection that combines my love of classic, antique and heirloom inspired pieces - with delicate florals, celestial nods and staple pieces I return to again and again, with the Oliver Bonas magic touch - and a couple of favourite mottos thrown in for good measure”, says Liv.

“Liv has a great affinity with moons and floral motifs, so there’s a celestial feel to the collection”, says Lianna. The gold-plated jewellery is accented with pale stones and Mother of Pearl inlays”.

“The quotes are all engraved in Liv's handwriting”, says Debs. “They’re sentimental, inspirational and hopeful - believe, dream, do and no rain, no flowers - and were important to include because of Liv’s inspiring blog and Insecure Girls Club page on Instagram”.

“Jewellery should make you feel special and it's made to be treasured. I truly hope that's what we've achieved, and you love the pieces as much as we've loved making them. It's been a long time coming, and I hope you'll have and love them for a long, long time going forward too”
